You present one perspective - and I agree that economic opportunities, more affordable education, and an easier route to home ownership made life easier for many boomers. On the other hand, many others were held back by more pronounced racial and gender inequalities, lack of LGBTQ+ rights, the draft, etc. One could also make an argument that younger generations have certain advantages due to medical advancements and improved public health measures, along with all the benefits of technology.

I'm not disagreeing with your conclusions Kathleen. But I believe it is more nuanced and not quite so black and white.
